mountain bike events can be a good way to bicycle in the country you would not normally be able to access and provide an opportunity for like-minded people. The first case your company can be a little daunting, but surely there are other First Timers and a lot of support in the day. Here are ten tips for your first horse riding event in my personal experience in the saddle and as part of a support team. Take note of this, and you are not only the race but in fact they also have .

1. Try, in a similar terrain and the conditions for the experience you on the day.
2. Get your bike in a service for at least a few weeks before the event, for any major repairs. You do not want to waste all that training with a preventable gearbox failure on the day and bike shops can not be expected, by about a major work with a few days in advance.
3. Make sure your bike properly set-up for you. Bike shops or sports physios can use this. Riding a bike-building a badly with high intensity over a long period will cause your back or leg problems, will take a while to again.
4. Start with energy bars and drinks (including recovery formula) during your training so that your body becomes used to them. Not suddenly with a new product on the day of one of the sponsors on the spot. Your body can not be used to it and respond.
5. For longer trips, including a chamoix cream or vasoline to reduce friction. One of my friends go by the "if it moves it vas! ""
6. A large support crew to help you get ready to cheer like hell during the event and will be there to help you at the end of the race.
7. Get to the event early and go for a warm-up ride los nerve, stretch the legs and a final control of the bike.
8. Make sure you know the course and not on the front of you, after the right.
9. Ride your own pace and not to blow after the professionals from the start line. Also ride to your own abilities in all technical departments.
10. Have fun, lots of laughter and conversations with other drivers - you never know when you need their help!
