slopes are probably one of the most beautiful parts of the mountain bike, if you are good at them. One of the main things that people have trouble learning with technical steep descents is scared. If you employ some simple techniques, the fear is replaced with confidence, and you should have no problem. I decided to see a list of techniques in order of importance.
1. Get Behind Your Seat - You need to put your body weight towards the rear of the bike. This means, literally, your ass should be on your rear tires and not your seat. If you have too much weight to the front and you have a root or a bar, your face will soon take to the root or Sims.
2. Leave the front alone - That is not true if you have more experience, but at the moment with your rear brake to secure your speed on downhills. Again, if you brake before the soil is exactly like the roots and see a face plant. The good things about plants is, after you have, you tend to not make the same mistake twice.
3. Select a Line - There are several ways to build through technical sections, hard ways and easy ways. It is a good idea to spot the line before you go and try to keep. If you are in front of the line do not worry, just stay behind your seat and tough it out. The more you practice the less you will find yourself moving from the line. In highly technical descents There is no shame to stop at the beginning of the IT, grease bleeding a row, then back to a moving start.
If you have all these masters, it is hard to find you can do downhill.
