It's a funny human condition, but if you look to your forties and fifties, many people really, truly, deeply, want to make a Harley-Davidson. The brand image of Harley-Davidson is so strong that the mere thought of the genuine article until conjours idea of wide open spaces and the freedom to ride, ride, ride.

Then of course there is the reality - children, bonds, jobs, hurricanes, rain, the oil price and a multitude of other factors, specifically to thwart our goal to jump on that Harley and head to the mountains!

My solution? Buy a ton of Harley Davidson T-shirts bear, and whenever and wherever - even under the suit, or blouse in the ridiculously long business meetings, we all seem to have to endure.

By wearing a Harley Davidson T-shirt, can I get a metaphorical finger to the world, while he has the necessary but mundane activities of the day. Like Walter Mitty character, my T-shirt Harley transports me to the important places that I'd rather be.

Every morning, as I drag the selected Harley over my head, I can hear the deep throated burbling of a Harley Davidson idling phase - and I know that everything goes well and that I am ready to take whatever the world chooses to throw me .

Of course, owning the real thing sounds great, but then again, the mundane things like fuel costs, maintenance, licensing, moisture, oil on the street to name a few somewhat distracted by the image from horse riding into the sunset on a never End-stripe the road.

So I think I on my Harley Davidson T-shirt - it is cheaper, more user-friendly and less prone to ruining my dreams with a dose of reality!
