I have to build a Tamiya TT-01 BMW Z4 and it's a hell of experience. I've learned a lot, how these things work because it is from a field of bits, it's really very interesting.

It took me 3 full days to build it, usually about 12 hours a day. It required much patience and concentration, as I paid a little more than £ 140 in total. I did not want to mess it, so I always have the control I had the right parts and right screws, as they are all very closely and in certain areas. If you are a part of it is wrong to mess up or you require, usually a whole section apart to make them and try again.

So I really my time with him. Do it right the first time.

I'll show you some of the steps to give you an idea of how frustrating, infuriating, educational and fun was. If you are really not very good at building things or have a short attention span, I would suggest you pay that bit extra for the XB versions. You are eXpert Built by the guys from Tamiya itself ( "I assume so). They come with all the radio equipment, perfect body sprayed and stickered with the radio, transmitter, and a 7.2 V Ni-Cad battery. You are over £ 160 from up to about £ 200 for all builds on a TT-01 chassis. Some of them are much more expensive.

They are defiantly worth it, but at the time, I was tight for money, and I already had a transmitter, so that the additional payment was not available to me or worthwhile.

Also on the development of major benefit to themselves from a field of bits, if slightly larger internal or easily go wrong, you know how to disassemble and repair it, which is very useful if you have a tendency to crash to bring it a lot ... .
