I remember my first motorcycle. Well, technically my second, but the first was just a little 80cc dirt I had as a child. Let me begin. I remember my first street motorcycle. It was a gift from my grandfather. The motorcycle was in his garage for years and years and was virtually collapse in the concrete floor, many parts were rust away. The motorcycle was a 1966 Honda Scrambler 305 (CL77). I remember sitting in it when I was a child and even a picture of the meeting with my two brothers. I have good memories of that motorcycle. I've always wanted a motorcycle that is why I sometimes ask my grandparents about it. Then, before I knew it was my . The title was over and I had my first classic Honda motorcycle. The only problem was that it does not work ...

I had never been on a motorcycle before then and so was a little intimidated. But want to learn and curious about how everything works, I finally began to him piece by piece. Most of the part on the motorcycle I had no idea what they did and what they were. But slowly, I have it by learning more here and there. I went so far that I even misleading the entire transmission. I had the gear and all that talk about jumping right in.

Many parts on the motorcycle needed replacement. I had a very difficult time finding OEM parts for the old and the bike. There just were not many parts for them, at least not where I was looking. For those who ask, OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Basically, the original parts. I looked around some Honda dealers, but also their old stock of spare parts was extremely limited. For many of the parts that I could not find an OEM part for I actually always either at the end of some custom manufacture or only on my own.

It was after this first encounter with the reconstruction of a motorcycle that I have learned that with great resources for finding hard to find parts is more than invaluable. You can do so much time and frustration of searching countless stores, junk-meter, other Web sites. I wish I knew about bikebandit.com then.

As I have already said what I really had at that time was a place like bikebandit.com. This shop is like a huge selection of OEM parts for Honda motorcycles. and bicycles and other toys, that it's almost hard to believe. It is like they are purchased and all OEM Honda motorcycle parts in existence. This shop is truly an irreplaceable resource for anyone rebuilding a Honda or other motorcycle from the ground up, or even just a few parts to replace.

Just a quick browse their enormous online catalog, you can see what I can find.

Left for the crankcase, the crankcase on the right, under? (Are you serious), front wheel, muffler, points, tail light. I'm just grabbing random parts that they have available. In fact, it looks like I could probably build an entire motorcycle just parts if I wanted. Now that is impressive!
